Delta Securing Its Top Position In 2019 Airline Quality Ratings Improving In Every Aspects

According to a study by Wichita State University and Embry Riddle Aeronautical University on mishandled baggage, consumer complaints, on time performance and involuntary denied boarding’s, Delta surprisingly stood on top among all the other airline carriers in US. The issued statement, in a joint project from researchers of Wichita State University and Embry Riddle Aeronautical University, was through annual study of all the aspects of all the top airlines of US. The researchers said that the AQR is the most comprehensive study of performance and quality of these airlines. Additionally the customer satisfaction and their ratings do play an important role and it is one of the important factors in the ranking of these airlines.

After lots of struggle, bankruptcy and finally merging with Northwest Airlines in past few decades, Delta has been continuously growing and improving and finally gets recognition and becomes steady arriving at the top spot. In the whole year 2019 Delta turns out to be the only Airlines to improve its rating in each and every aspect studied by AQR, disappointingly in 2018 Delta finished 0.0005 percentage points away from the top placed Airline.

Apart from the top place allotted by AQR Delta also managed to achieve the top spot in number of other recent Accolades, including The Point’s Guy 2019 list of best and worst US airlines, FlightGlobal’s Most On-Time Airline and Best U.S. Airlines by Wall Street Journal. Delta’s Chief Operating Officer said “Today’s recognition is something really special for Delta and speaks to the tireless efforts of our more than 80,000 employees to take care of and serve our customers.”
